This was our third time visiting this park and it was just as quiet as always. You can read my previous review here. Below is updated information from our 2025 visit.

- Noise level: Quiet
We chose this site away from other campers mostly so we could easily back in and pull back out without navigating around other vehicles. This campground has always been pretty quiet when we’ve visited so we weren’t too worried about the people themselves.
Once we were all set up and ate dinner we took a quick walk to the river and into town to the railroad tracks before settling in for the night. The next morning we walked back into town to get some coffee and smoothies from the coffee kiosk then headed on to our next destination.
This park is always on our list of stops when we head west to Oregon from North Dakota, depending on the time of year. We highly recommend staying here on your way through, too.
